Crew
Code of Conduct
Ten things we expect of everyone running the Founder Sprint, ourselves included.
- 1 Show up.Be where you said you'd be when you said you'd be there. Tell us early if something changes.
- 2 Respect everyone.Participants, fellow crew, vendors, neighbors. Especially when things get stressful.
- 3 Be inclusive. No harassment, no slurs, no jokes that punch down. We're a "everyone fits here" team.
- 4 No alcohol or smoking — at all.No alcohol, no smoking, no other substances at any time during the Sprint — on shift, off shift, at dinner. This applies to organizers too.
- 5 Keep ideas private.Don't share participant pitches, applications, or working ideas outside the team.
- 6 Photo respect.Honor the do-not-photograph wristbands. Get verbal consent before posting close-ups online.
- 7 No side deals with sponsors.Don't accept gifts or services from sponsors that aren't in our public list. Loop Mo in if you're asked.
- 8 Safety first, always.Stop the activity if anyone's in danger. Find Mo, AbdelAziz, or Ahmed.
- 9 Lift your peers. If you're done with your tasks and a teammate is drowning, jump in.
- 10 Speak up.If something feels wrong — sponsor, participant, fellow crew — tell an organizer immediately. We've got your back.
